One Young World Peace Programmes
Since 2017, One Young World, in partnership with the European Commission and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has collaborated to scale the impact of young leaders working to build and restore peace at both a community and global level.
This year, ahead of the 10th Annual Summit in London, One Young World is delighted to introduce the eighty new young leaders who will join the One Young World Enterprise for Peace Ambassadors and the One Young World Peace Ambassador initiatives.
Each member of the 2019 cohort has shown evidenced commitment to building lasting peace, by directly tackling violence, countering the harmful effects of environmental change or promoting education to battle youth unemployment.

One Young World Peace Ambassadors
The One Young World Peace Ambassador programme, in partnership with the European Commission, supports young people working to prevent and counter violent extremism (P/CVE) in their communities
Since 2017, the European Commission has supported 125 young people in developing countries who are active in P/CVE and peacebuilding initiatives.
All of the selected candidates have an excellent track-record of leadership, are engaged in at least one, and often multiple, initiatives in their local communities and represent a diverse range of geographical backgrounds, religions and ideological affiliations to support peace globally.
